Why Mentorship? Mentorship involves the transference of Wisdom. King Solomon, whose wisdom was evidenced by a net worth of about USD 2 Trillion, taught: “Counsel and sound judgment are mine; I have understanding and power. By me kings reign and rulers make laws that are just; ... I love those who love me and those who seek me find me. With me are riches and honour, enduring wealth and prosperity”. - Nabii McKnight @nabiimcknight #nabiiquotes

"Since the calling and office of a Prophet is from God, you need no introduction letters or explanations to a church or ministry. The Lord who called and gifted you will give you both the message and platform to minister. Just be personally accountable to mentors and above all faithful to God. The Prophet of the Lord is distinguished from false prophets because: 1. That which he prophesies in the name of the Lord comes to pass (Deut 18:22) 2. That which he prophesies does not contradict the scripture. (1 John 4:1) Huduma Kwako!!! ... Undoubtedly your credentials are outstanding! ... your willingness to serve in ministry is nonetheless noted and appreciated. May the Lord lead you to the appropiate ministry among the numerous other opportunities available at our church" - Rev Ken Isige (CITAM Thika Road)
To them that ask of "my church" implying where I attend, belong or serve, learn this: My Jurisdiction in the Office of Prophet is independent and interdenominational across the entire Body of Christ within the meaning of Jer 1:5, Prv 15:22, 22:29, Acts 17:26 and Eph 4:11-16. I believe the Canon of Scripture is complete and therefore all Prophecy should be Scriptural and based on Love (Mat 7:12). That said, my Spiritual Genealogy is as follows:
My Grandparents were Catholic and Anglican respectively (and Military Veterans); My Parents are Charismatic Catholics and I received Catechism Confirmation Sacrament by the late Cardinal Maurice Otunga in 1997; I was born again at Muthaiga Primary School Class 6 aged 12 in 1995 midwifed by a CRE Teacher, Mrs Irungu; I underwent New Believers Class and Water Baptism at CITAM in 2002 conducted by Rev Ken Isige and Bishop Dr Ken Kimiywe respectively; Served therein as a Discipleship Leader for 5 years to 2007 and concurrently as a CU Official at KCA University mentoring 200+ students; Then Adonai thrust me into a decade of molding in the Wilderness. In December 2018, aged 36, upon completion of 24 years of Salvation, the number of Governance, He disclosed to me 12 Evidences of my Destiny in the said 5-Fold Ministry Office hitherto hidden from myself, family and everyone else including: 12 Disciples of the Messiah, 12 Months of a Calendar, 24 Hours in a Day, 24 Elders in Heaven, 1982 Coup D’etat, 2008 Post Election Violence and Global Economic Recession, Foresight into 2017 Presidential Rerun and Handshake among others. Even COVID-19 Global Pandemic is part of the puzzle. My initial Clients include JCCMI under Apostle Dr Wilfred Lai and Bishop Dr Mark Kegohi in Mombasa and Kisumu respectively referred by Rev Martin Mwirigi in 2010. M-Shirika is thus one among many other expressions of my Ministration.
In the fullness of time, the LORD shall direct a Destiny Helper and Vineyard conducive for my kind of Wine to be served from (Psm 1:3, Mark 2:22) i.e. for Accountability, Mentorship and Partnership, considering that I can be extreme sometimes which is a survival instinct from my earlier seasons as a wounded lone ranger. Prophets are not Omniscient (2 Kings 4:27, 1 Cor 13:9) neither are they Angels devoid of human flaws e.g. Moses had wrath and Elijah was suicidal. Notwithstanding, we are progressively molded for and entrusted with extensive Spiritual Authority - Num 20:11, 2 Kings 2 & 6, James 5:17-18. Some people have prospered through my gift of connecting people whilst others, however, unfortunately, have lost jobs or loved ones on account of 2 Chron 20:20, Psm 105:15 and Isa 54:17. The same shall officially Activate/Commission me following the pattern or order set by Moses and Joshua, Elijah and Elisha, John and Yeshua, Paul and Timothy, where the former unlocked the latter into their Dominion upon the Earth Realm (Psm 115:15-16)...
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. - Marianne Williamson, A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of "A Course in Miracles"
Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it's thinking of yourself less. - CS Lewis
How to Tap into the Mystery of Diverse Graces and The Law of Honour
"He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward ... A prophet is not without honour save in his own country and in his own house. And He did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief." - Jesus Christ (Mat 10:41, 13:58)
"But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ ... Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us ... Render therefore to all their dues; tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour" - Apostle Paul (Eph 4:7, Rom 12:6, 13:7)
This is an article by Nabii McKnight which summarises sermons on this subject from Apostle Joshua Selman, in honour of his graces, hereby presented as a gift for the benefit of the Body of Christ defined in Ephesians 4.
Men [both genders] are multi-dimensional. The dimension you honour is the dimension that you receive from. A prophet is not only a prophet, he may also be a brother, father, husband, uncle, CEO, etc. If you only receive the brother in him, you may only receive family stories. If you honour the CEO you may receive contracts but not his anointing. You must discern, 'Who is this man?', not in the flesh, 'What does he represent?', 'What grace brought this result? Is it common? Should I trivialise it?' Honour reproduces those results in your life. Honour is not human worship, as some preachers have abused it, it is the discerning, celebration and sometimes rewarding of the uniqueness and usefulness of a person or object responsible for certain results, treating them as though their presence does not equal their absence. There is honour to the LORD, honour to men and honour to principles. The grace that comes to a man as touching his office is for every person including the carrier. Real value is not physical. Material wealth is merely evidence of what is on you [the oil on your head]. The LORD stores possibilities in men. No man is empty. There are men who are carrying mysteries which even they themselves are not aware.
A woman can carry favour which comes from her grandparents based on a covenant they made with the LORD but she may not know it. A man marries her and he starts to rise or a friend starts a relationship and gets a job in two weeks ... something on you ... a spiritual component that represents an advantage ... the husband should go to her and say for instance 'your ability to dream helped me to make the right decisions for the last 10 years. I submit to an understanding of that grace'.
Here's a true story: a preacher's family was going down financially but their church members were getting blessed. One day, the wife got up and left in the middle of his sermon, went home, prepared a nice meal and, when he later came home, served him with special utensils, afterward got down on her knees and said, "Our family is in trouble, Man of God, pray for us". Suddenly the anointing he experienced in church came upon him, prayed for her and their family was shifted to another level. There are many preachers whose relatives have never benefited from such impartation, because to them he is just a brother. Only the LORD knows what a man or woman carries. The day you honour it, you partake of it. On the other hand, dishonor shuts doors of possibilities hitherto opened to you. Many Africans are addicted to dishonor, we trivialise the results of other people and so we remain where we are.
You may be friends with someone who always receives calls for jobs yet you have not had one for a long time. Approach him saying, 'Today I am not talking to you not as a friend but as a carrier of grace for jobs. What can I buy you for lunch? Even if he casually says the Lord bless you, that's it, your doors are open.'
You may be a family with only two stubborn children but another family or uneducated mama somewhere has eleven children who are all responsible. Firstborn, a pastor, second a CEO, third a doctor, fourth a professor, and so on ... that is grace! The day you discern and visit them with a hamper saying, 'Your children are like princes, we have come to receive that grace so that where we failed, our children will not fail'. Even if they dismiss you, it's too late, it has come upon you. You can honour your way to family stability.
A musician came to me, knelt down and gave me some of his copies to pray for him. I spoke over it, "I give it wings", and now its being played all over South Africa. Tomorrow you will see him sharing the stage with a prominent person but you will think he is just lucky. It not just about packaging a seed, it starts with discernment. 'What is in this man that he composes such a song?'. 'Today I sow into the grace that gave you that influence'.
Cheap victories which pride and dishonor stops people from getting into. Who have you dishonoured that is responsible for your stagnation? Perhaps you have seen a businessman who cannot speak English but has 500 staff! Grace! I am like a spiritual archeologist who searches and discerns genuine graces. Strangers are usually most blessed because they come with hunger and depth of recognition. Elisha was not among the sons of Elijah yet he received his mantle even though his mentor had serious weaknesses. He adapted. Your fortitude to adapt is proof of honour. The vessels are earthen but not what they carry. Some of you have rubbed shoulders with certain graces such as Evangelist Benny Hinn while serving tea or doing something yet you are still where you are! I went to clean washrooms for a crusade by Evangelist Reinhard Bonke even though I was already walking in miracles and I had a supernatural encounter and impartation. We are equal in Christ but not in Grace. It is not about superiority, its about levels of alignment and sacrifice which separates men into different caders.
It takes alot to receive impartation. It takes more than just kneeling down or sowing a seed. You can kneel down yet you are standing up. You can speak good yet it is not true. Dishonor has destroyed many businesses and ministries in Africa. The trivialising of the spiritual investments and sacrifices of people. A business person who comes to a place with nothing and in 5 years has many branches, does that sound ordinary to you? 'What is the big deal?' we say. There are many preachers who receive nothing when listening to sermons of other preachers in secret because the door of honour is closed. This is the key responsible for the retrogression of people. I will never see greatness and ignore it. Saying "You are a man, I am a man" is foolishness you will spend a lifetime paying for it. Anytime you meet someone who can do what you cannot do, sustain the ability to honour them.
Consistency is proof that you are not walking in anything by mistake - family, business, ministry, politics, etc. You can run by mistake but not you cannot win the olympics by mistake. Success is based on laws and is very difficult to be sustainably successful. Most people find comfort giving excuses, sometimes justifiably so. The moment you are successful, you judge people's excuses so they downplay your relevance. They do it not because they hate you but to manage their insecurities. The reason the brothers of Joseph hated him is because he was the only one with a dream. Jesus told his disciples seeking positions at his left and right side, the positions are vacant but can you drink of my cup? Every great man paid a price only a few can imagine. Some rose unassisted after many failures. The LORD helped them yet some people equate this to money or education and so gates of possibilities close.
